Section 2: Core Greetings (Pinyin + Meaning + Explanation)
Learn only these 5 basics today:

Nǐ hǎo — Hello
👉 This is the most common way to say hello in Chinese. You can use it with anyone. -
Nǐ hǎo! Hěn gāoxìng rènshi nǐ. — Hello! Nice to meet you.
👉 Use this when you meet someone for the first time. -
Xièxie — Thank you
👉 Use this to say thanks in daily situations (shop, class, friends). -
Bú kèqi — You’re welcome
👉 Say this when someone says “thank you” to you. -
Zàijiàn — Goodbye
👉 This is the normal way to say goodbye when leaving.
Simple tip:
Don’t worry about grammar today. Just say these sentences clearly and slowly.
