Section 2: Key Sentences (Pinyin + Meaning + Simple Explanation)

Learn these core sentences:

  1. Wǒ jiào …My name is …
    👉 Use this to say your name.
    Example: Wǒ jiào Aruna. = My name is Aruna.

  2. Nǐ jiào shénme míngzi?What is your name?
    👉 Use this to ask someone’s name.

  3. Hěn gāoxìng rènshi nǐ.Nice to meet you.
    👉 Say this when you meet someone for the first time.

  4. Wǒ yě shì.Me too.
    👉 Say this when someone says “Nice to meet you” to you.

Simple tip:
Don’t worry about perfect accent today. Speak slowly and clearly.
